1. EWINE VAN DISHOECK WEBINAR, JUNE 17

As part of the Astrochemistry Seminar series at Illinois, Professor
Ewine van Dishoeck of Leiden Observatory and the Max Planck Institute
for Extraterrestrial Physics will be giving a talk at 11am CDT on
Wednesday, June 17th, entitled "Chemistry in Protostellar and
Protoplanetary Regions." We plan once again to provide a live web stream
of the seminar to MWAC members and other interested parties. Please save
the time/date on your calendar, and click on the "Webcasts" link at
http://midwest.astrochemistry.us to watch the webinar. We encourage
members at other institutions to webcast astrochemistry-related seminars
as well.

2. MWAM09 DATE SURVEY

The second Midwest Astrochemistry Meeting (MWAM09) will be held on the
campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the fall.
Last year’s inaugural meeting was a great success, with over 60
attendees from schools and other institutions around the region. There
are a couple possible weekends when the meeting could be scheduled: if
you have a preference for or a conflict with Oct 23-24 or Nov 6-7,
please email mwam2009@gmail.com.

3. CONSORTIUM DIRECTORY REQUEST

We would very much like to fill in the consortium directory. To sign up
